A Lead Teacher is a teacher who provides guidance and mentorship to other teachers. A Lead Teacher is responsible for taking the considerations of teachers, administration and parents into account and using those preferences to follow-through with an educational structure that allow the students to learn. Lead Teachers still conduct their own classes like any other teach, but has additional responsibilities, when the Headmaster is off campus: -Meet with parents, -Sitting in on classes in an observational role, -Assisting teachers in the creation of lesson plans or in solving problems, and -Assisting teachers in tracking academic performance of students for signs of academic progress. Lead Teacher work within the Pre-Kindergarten and Elementary levels. Because a Lead Teacher has to work with such a broad range of individuals from children to the Headmaster, they must possess many skills to succeed: -Communication skills -Strong teaching abilities -Leadership skills -Empathy -Decision-making skills -Organizational Skills -Conflict resolution skills A stipend of $3,000 will be paid for the Lead Teacher position.
