Volunteer Opportunities

Below is a list of volunteer opportunities available at the Llano Christian Academy. Our volunteers are an important part of our operation, and we invite you to contact us if you would like to participate. Thank you, volunteers, for all you do!

List of Volunteer Jobs at Llano Christian Academy

1. Recycle paper and bottles once a week
2. Assist reluctant readers
3. Help clean the school hallway and gym on Friday afternoons
4. Assist on the playground for recess
5. Provide supervision on field trips
6. Provide assistance in the office, i.e. answer telephone, help with mailing
7. Assist with grant writing
8. Assist with newsletter
9. Lunch monitor
10. Listen to students read
11. Adopting a teacher to help, i.e. cut out, copy, etc.
12. Room parent for parties - contact person for other parents
13. Stenciling/painting on pavement behind gym (Saturday workday)
14. Traffic control in a.m. and p.m.
15. Chairperson for Parent Involvement Committee
16. Chairperson for Parent Training Sessions
17. Chairperson for Accreditation Committee
18. Be a classroom helper for a morning, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.
